Following a complaint by Mumtaz Aalam about the theft of his mobile phone on July 8, Dhakoli police acted quickly to solve the case. Led by SHO Sukhbir Singh, the team traced the stolen phone and arrested a juvenile on July 9. During interrogation, the juvenile admitted involvement in multiple phone thefts and disclosed that he had been selling the stolen phones at discounted prices to Kisan Kumar, a local mobile shop owner.
