NAPOLEONVILLE, LA – An Alabama man has been arrested after allegedly stealing $40,000 worth of commercial wire from a Louisiana industrial supply company, authorities say.

Kevian Lee Sr., 52, is charged with felony theft and simple burglary in connection with two separate thefts at Amelia Industrial Business. According to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of stolen commercial wiring on August 25.

Surveillance footage helped identify Lee as the suspect in both incidents. Authorities say he stole from the business twice, targeting high-value wire used in industrial operations.

Lee was arrested in Mobile, Alabama, on August 27 and was later extradited to Louisiana, arriving at the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Monday.

The investigation remains ongoing.
