Keston Vaughns, Teens Charged in Gulfport Shooting, Robbery

Three arrested after shots fired into home, vehicle stolen

GULFPORT, Miss. (WJTV) — Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting and armed robbery that occurred in the early hours of June 1 in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Gulfport police responded to Silver Ridge Avenue just after 1:30 a.m., where they found over 20 shell casings at the scene. Two vehicles and a residence had been struck by gunfire. Authorities confirmed that the home was occupied by both adults and children at the time of the shooting.

Investigators say the suspects — Keston Vaughns (19), Elijah Parham (16), and Kevion Hannibal (16) — allegedly assaulted a victim with firearms, stole money, and took the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Vaughns has been charged with:

One count of shooting into a dwelling

One count of armed robbery

One count of motor vehicle theft

Parham and Hannibal were each charged with:

One count of armed robbery

One count of motor vehicle theft

All three suspects were booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Vaughns is being held on a $1,250,000 bond, while Parham and Hannibal each have $1,000,000 bonds.
