In a significant development in Kerala’s ongoing fight against drug trafficking, police arrested Alan Philip, a suspected kingpin of a drug syndicate, during an operation under Operation D-Hunt. The 25-year-old, from Pathanamthitta but residing in Bengaluru, was apprehended by the Chirayinkeezhu Police.
The arrest is connected to the seizure of 127 grams of MDMA in Chirayinkeezhu last December, which had led to the earlier arrest of two other suspects by the Thiruvananthapuram Rural Police. This operation is part of Kerala’s continued crackdown on narcotic substances and drug peddling, which has resulted in numerous arrests and significant drug seizures.
