The Kuruppampady police have arrested a 35-year-old man, Sreethesh, from Kannur, on charges of cheating job aspirants by promising them fake job offers in Israel.
Sreethesh allegedly carried out this scam under a fictitious name using a fraudulent firm located in Ernakulam North. His activities are believed to be part of a larger racket targeting job seekers looking for opportunities abroad.
The police are continuing their investigation to uncover further details of the operation.
