In a shocking and tragic case of a poisoned love affair, Greeshma has been sentenced to death by the Neyyattinkara Additional Sessions Court in Trivandrum, Kerala, for the murder of her boyfriend, Sharon Raj. The court convicted Greeshma on several serious charges, including kidnapping with intent to murder, causing harm by poison, murder, and tampering with evidence to shield the offender.

In addition to the death sentence, the court handed down a 10-year sentence for kidnapping with the intent to murder, and a 5-year sentence for causing the disappearance of evidence and providing false information.
The Special Public Prosecutor, VS Vineeth Kumar, who represented the victim’s family, expressed satisfaction with the judgment, calling it an exemplary ruling. “I had argued that this was a rarest of the rare case and that capital punishment should be awarded,” said Kumar, emphasizing the gravity of the crime and the court’s decision.
This ruling is significant, as it marks a strong stance against such heinous crimes and highlights the court’s commitment to delivering justice in complex and brutal murder cases.
