Kenneth Ray Epley, Sr. Arrested on Meth Charges

63-year-old Morganton man faces two felony drug charges

63-year-old Kenneth Ray Epley, Sr., a resident of Elsie Mae Drive in Morganton, was arrested last Friday (August 29) by Burke County Sheriff’s deputies. He faces two felony drug charges: possession of methamphetamine and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver meth.

Authorities executed a search warrant at Epley’s residence, where they discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Following the search, Epley was taken into custody.

He was booked into the Burke County Jail with bond set at $2,000 secured. His initial District Court appearance is scheduled for Thursday, September 4.
