Kathleen Henry Arrested in LBI Drug Bust

Mercer County woman faces meth, paraphernalia charges

A routine traffic stop on Long Beach Island led to the arrest of a Mercer County woman on drug-related charges.

On March 5, 2026, officers from the Long Beach Township Police Department stopped a vehicle near 36th Street and Long Beach Boulevard. The stop escalated into a deeper investigation with the assistance of the department’s K-9 Unit.

The driver, identified as Kathleen Henry, 38, of Hamilton, was arrested and charged with:

Possession of methamphetamine

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Possession of an open container in a motor vehicle

Henry was taken into custody, processed at police headquarters, and later released. She is scheduled for a future court appearance.

The Long Beach Township Police Department commended the teamwork and professionalism of the officers involved, specifically noting Patrolman Lutz, Patrolman Rubel, Patrolman Gunnell, Sergeant Reynolds, K-9 Officer Stambaugh, and K-9 Rogue for their role in the arrest.
