BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV) — Police in Biloxi have made an arrest in connection with a deadly crash that occurred nearly two months ago.
Katelyn Posey, 23, of Vancleave, was taken into custody on Friday and charged with DUI causing death, stemming from a collision that happened on July 20.
According to investigators, Posey was driving while impaired on Popp’s Ferry Road when her vehicle crashed into another car. The driver of the second vehicle later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Posey is currently being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
