The Anti-Narcotics Wing (ANW) of the Central Crime Branch (CCB), Bengaluru City, busted a drug peddling operation by raiding a hotel in Ramamurthy Nagar and arresting two young men allegedly involved in narcotics trafficking.
Acting on a tip-off, sleuths conducted a raid at Supreme Suites, where the accused had reportedly rented rooms to sell drugs and provide accommodation to consumers. The arrested individuals have been identified as Karim (24) and Affan (20), both natives of Puttur.
During the operation, police seized 15 grams of MDMA crystals, along with syringes, needles, and a weighing machine, collectively valued at approximately Rs3 lakh. Officials said the recovered items indicate an organised setup for drug distribution.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to determine the source of the narcotics and identify other individuals linked to the racket.
