Karen Manfre Arrested for Identity Theft, Officer Injured

WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WOLF) — A 45-year-old woman, Karen Manfre, has been arrested after allegedly providing false identification to police and being found with drug paraphernalia concealed in her shoe.

According to Wilkes-Barre Township Police, Manfre was in possession of two syringes at the time of her arrest. During transport, she reportedly attempted to hide one of the syringes, which accidentally injured an officer. The officer required medical treatment and was later released.

Manfre now faces multiple charges, including identity theft and other related offenses stemming from the incident.
