Police have arrested two dolly workers for allegedly cheating Ayyappa devotees by promising to arrange special darshan at the Sabarimala Ayyappa temple.

The accused were identified as Kannan (31) and Raghu R. (27), both residents of Peerumade in Idukki district. According to police, the incident took place on October 18, when the Sabarimala hill shrine was open for the Thulam month pooja.

Investigators said the duo approached devotees offering to arrange quicker temple access in exchange for money. The scam came to light after several pilgrims reported being duped. Authorities are verifying if others were involved and have urged devotees to use only official booking channels for darshan arrangements.
