Kamtam Mohit Swapnil Varthe Arrested in Hyderabad Drug Bust

Rs 10.96 lakh worth drugs seized at Uppal stadium parking

The Rachakonda Narcotics Police team of the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) busted a drug possession gang at Uppal Cricket Stadium Parking Area, arresting two individuals and recovering narcotics worth Rs 10.96 lakh.

Authorities seized 200 grams of OG Kush and 32 Ecstasy pills, alongside Google Pay transaction records totaling Rs 1.16 lakh. The operation was carried out under the provisions of the NDPS Act.

The accused have been identified as Kamtam Mohit (25), a vegetable vendor from Sindhi Colony, Secunderabad, and Swapnil Varthe (26), a pre-owned vehicle seller from Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh.

Both are currently in judicial custody as part of ongoing efforts by EAGLE to curb the distribution of synthetic and high-grade narcotics targeting youth in Hyderabad.
