Irvine, CA – An 18-year-old from Laguna Hills was arrested for allegedly fleeing the scene of a road rage crash that occurred on June 18 in Orange County.
The suspect, Kaleb Patrick Hardisonhaper, was involved in a road rage confrontation that ended with a Honda CR-V crashing into a light pole, according to the Irvine Police Department. The victim sustained only minor injuries, but the SUV suffered heavy front-end damage.
Instead of reporting the crash, Hardisonhaper reportedly left the scene and went to the Irvine Spectrum Center mall, where he was later located by police.
Authorities said Hardisonhaper was inside the mall watching a movie when he was arrested. He was booked at the Orange County Jail on a charge of felony hit-and-run.
Police are still investigating the cause of the altercation that led to the crash.
