MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Memphis woman already facing charges for a 2023 attack at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen has been hit with a new assault charge stemming from an alleged incident at a local McDonald’s.
Kaitlin Brantley, one of four individuals previously indicted for aggravated assault in the July 2023 attack on 17-year-old Omarion Ford, a host at Cheddar’s, is now accused of assaulting a shift manager at the McDonald’s on Mendenhall Road.
According to police, Brantley became angry over an incorrect food order and escalated the situation by climbing through the drive-thru window, where she allegedly threatened the manager, damaged restaurant equipment, and vandalized food items.
Despite the aggression, the manager was reportedly able to defend herself and did not sustain any injuries.
Brantley has now been charged with assault and vandalism in connection with the McDonald’s incident.
Following the new charges, her bond—originally set at $20,000—has been revoked, and she remains in custody.
The case adds to Brantley’s growing legal troubles as she continues to face prosecution for the previous Cheddar’s assault, which reportedly began over a seating dispute.
