Kaden Johnson Arrested in Alexandria Shooting

18-year-old faces attempted murder charge

The Alexandria Police Department arrested 18-year-old Kaden Johnson following a shooting on March 20 in the 2700 block of 9th Street in Alexandria.

Authorities said the shooting occurred around 3:50 p.m., leaving one victim with gunshot injuries. The individual was treated at a local hospital.

Johnson was apprehended just a few hours after the incident. He has been charged with attempted second-degree murder and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. His bond was set at $500,000.

The Alexandria Police Department is continuing its investigation and asks anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact APD.
