BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) — A Bellows Falls man, Kaanan H. Kain, 35, faces burglary charges after allegedly breaking into Lipton Mart and stealing multiple items on Monday.
Police were alerted by a burglary alarm at around 1:26 a.m. and responded to the store on Canal Street. Authorities said Kain broke the glass of a door to gain entry and took a large quantity of merchandise, though the specific items were not identified.
Investigators identified Kaanan H. Kain through surveillance footage and arrested him later that same day.
He was scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on June 17.
