Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: Police have arrested a woman named Jyoti and her lover Bacha Lal for allegedly murdering her husband, Pradeep, in a premeditated crime that has shocked the local community.
According to officials, Bacha Lal was a close friend of Pradeep and often visited the couple’s home. Over time, his friendship with the family turned into an illicit affair with Jyoti. Investigators revealed that tensions in the household grew due to Pradeep’s drinking habits and frequent arguments, which led Jyoti and Bacha Lal to conspire to kill him.
As part of their plan, Bacha Lal allegedly persuaded Pradeep to drink heavily and later took him near a farmland, where he shot him dead. Initially, the death was believed to be accidental, but suspicions arose during the investigation.
After sustained questioning, both Jyoti and Bacha Lal confessed to their involvement in the crime. Police have recovered the firearm used in the murder and are continuing their probe to determine whether others were involved.
