PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. —
Justin Parker, 38, was arrested after Prentiss County deputies found him unconscious in his vehicle with drugs and firearms in plain view, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies responded to a welfare check on County Road 8121, where they located Parker passed out inside his car. While checking on him, officers noticed drug paraphernalia and two firearms visible within the vehicle.
A subsequent search revealed a crystal-like substance in Parker’s pocket, believed to be methamphetamine. He was taken into custody at the scene and later booked with bond set at $10,000.
NMNU agent Grady Smith is expected to present the case to a grand jury for further legal proceedings.
