Kentucky Man Justin Dean Arrested for Stabbing Brother with Scissors
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Justin Dean was arrested after allegedly breaking into his brother’s home and stabbing him in the testicles with scissors, according to officials.
Dean faces multiple charges, including burglary, strangulation, and assault, following the incident on August 3.
According to the criminal complaint, Dean entered his brother’s home without permission around 2 a.m. His brother awoke to find Dean in his bedroom before the attack began.
Dean reportedly stabbed his brother with scissors and then placed him in a chokehold during a physical struggle. The victim nearly lost consciousness but managed to escape.
A nearby witness reported hearing a loud bang and screams, “as if he were being killed,” before seeing Dean flee the scene.
Justin Dean is currently held in the Fayette County Detention Center awaiting further court proceedings.
