STOCKTON, Calif. (FOX26) — A man has been arrested in connection to a double homicide that occurred in December in Stockton.
The Stockton Police Department responded to reports of two unresponsive individuals on December 23rd. Upon arrival, officers found a woman in her 40s and a teenage boy, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives took over the investigation and identified Julio Valdez as the suspect.
On Tuesday, members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force, along with Mexico’s Regional Police, located Valdez in Rosarito, Mexico. Valdez was arrested and is currently in the process of being extradited to San Joaquin County.
The investigation into the case remains ongoing.
