Julia and Eric Gallodoro Face Second-Degree Assault Charges in Domestic Incident

Domestic Dispute Leads to New Charges for Julia Gallodoro Amid Legal Troubles

by Sophia Bennett

ST. LEONARD, Md. — Julia Nicole Gallodoro, 30, already facing multiple charges from a high-speed chase in March 2025, has now been charged with second-degree assault following a domestic incident on April 5, 2025. Eric James Gallodoro, 34, also faces a second-degree assault charge related to the same incident.

At approximately 10:42 a.m. on April 5, deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to an emergency call reporting a domestic dispute at a residence on Parkers Wharf Road in Saint Leonard. Upon arrival, Deputy H. Jones found Julia Gallodoro outside the home, while Eric Gallodoro was inside, visibly upset, sweating, out of breath, and with noticeable scratch marks on his face and body.

Eric Gallodoro explained that Julia arrived at the home around 5 a.m., allegedly under the influence of cocaine. He reported that Julia crawled into bed but was restless, leading to an argument. According to Eric, as he attempted to push her out of the house, a physical confrontation ensued, spilling into the front yard.

Julia Gallodoro provided a different account, claiming that Eric became upset due to her restlessness and began physically assaulting her, resulting in injuries, including a bloodied nose.

An additional witness, who initially gave conflicting statements, later confirmed that Eric was the primary aggressor. According to Deputy Aley’s report, when asked why Julia was out of breath, the witness responded, “she was breathing hard because she just got her ass whooped in here and out here.”

After further investigation, deputies identified Eric Gallodoro as the primary aggressor and arrested him for second-degree assault. However, they later determined that Julia Gallodoro’s involvement in the altercation also warranted charges, and she was formally charged with second-degree assault.

Second-degree assault is a misdemeanor in Maryland, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $2,500 if convicted.

Both individuals are scheduled to appear in Calvert County District Court—Eric Gallodoro on May 6 at 1 p.m. and Julia Gallodoro on May 19 at 10:30 a.m.

This incident adds to Julia Gallodoro’s ongoing legal troubles. In March 2025, she led authorities on a high-speed chase, facing charges of fleeing police, possession of cocaine, and reckless driving. Her trial for those charges is scheduled for May 12, 2025, in Calvert County District Court.
