The Jubilee Hills police have arrested a 33-year-old serial fraudster, Jogada Vamshi Krishna, who has been involved in multiple cases of cheating women across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. He targeted women through matrimonial websites, impersonating himself as a wealthy businessman, IT professional, or NRI.

Vamshi Krishna, also known by the alias Harsha Cherukuri, created fake profiles on platforms like Shaadi.com, Instagram, and Facebook, displaying photos of unknown men to lure victims. After gaining their trust, he fabricated emergencies such as frozen bank accounts, medical issues, or business losses to manipulate the women into transferring money.

When victims demanded repayment, he resorted to threats and blackmail, claiming to possess personal photographs that he threatened to misuse. The money was transferred via multiple bank accounts and digital payment apps, and it is believed to have been used for online betting and gambling.

Vamshi Krishna has been accused in more than 20 cases spanning Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Rachakonda, Vijayawada, Khammam, and other regions. Recently, a doctor filed a complaint, reporting a loss of Rs 10,94,827 after falling victim to his marriage scam.

The police are continuing their investigation, and further actions will be taken against the accused for his involvement in these fraudulent activities.
