PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — A Palm Beach County man was arrested Tuesday on allegations of repeat theft and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a report released by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities identified the suspect as Juan Villalobos-Perez, who was taken into custody on suspicion of petit theft involving merchandise from a farm or transit location, with two or more prior theft convictions. He is also accused of possessing and/or using drug-related equipment, commonly referred to as paraphernalia.
The arrest is documented under Report No. 546200 and was published online at 5:01 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2026, by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (Agency 01-PBSO). Officials did not release details about the location of the alleged theft, the type of merchandise involved, or how the paraphernalia was discovered.
Under Florida law, repeated petit theft offenses may result in enhanced penalties when prior convictions exist. Possession of drug paraphernalia is typically charged as a misdemeanor and can carry fines and other court-ordered consequences.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations. Villalobos-Perez is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. Additional details may emerge as the case moves forward through the court system.
