LAREDO, Tex. — A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with voyeurism and theft after surveillance footage captured him allegedly stealing flower pots and performing a lewd act near a bedroom window.

Police responded to the 3100 block of San Luis Street on February 12 following a report of indecent exposure and theft. The caller stated that a male had entered her yard, taken flower pots, and committed a lewd act while looking through her daughter’s bedroom window.

Officers identified the suspect as Juan Sergio Martinez, 35. He was later cited for voyeurism and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Laredo Police Department’s Special Victims Unit (SVU) took over the case, securing three arrest warrants against Martinez for two counts of voyeurism and theft of property with a previous conviction. He was served with the warrants on March 23.
