Joshua Marcantel Arrested for Burglary and Theft in New Hartford

Man caught breaking into Clinton Road home; faces felony charge

NEW HARTFORD — Joshua Marcantel, 42, was arrested for breaking into a home on Clinton Road and stealing property, the New Hartford Police Department reported.

The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. when neighbors called 911 after witnessing suspicious activity. Officers located Marcantel near the intersection of Route 12 and Merritt Place.

Marcantel faces charges of felony second-degree burglary and petty larceny. He is scheduled to appear in court to face the allegations.

Authorities continue to investigate the case.
