GLASGOW, Ky. — A Glasgow man was arrested on multiple drug-related charges following a disturbance investigation on Friday, April 18.
Glasgow police officers responded to a disturbance complaint on Bowan Avenue, located near Bully’s on Main, when they encountered 40-year-old Joseph Vibbert walking through a yard. Upon searching Vibbert, police found a baggie of methamphetamine, drug scales, and paraphernalia.
Vibbert was arrested and charged with public intoxication on a controlled substance, first-degree trafficking in controlled substances (first offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. Additionally, Vibbert had active warrants for a failure to appear and a probation violation stemming from a felony offense.
Officer Patrick Wade made the arrest, and Vibbert was taken into custody at the Barren County Detention Center.
