Slate Belt Regional Police responded to a residence on Stephen Jackson Road in Pen Argyl just before 11 p.m. on Saturday night following a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers encountered 50-year-old Joseph Schiavone, who was accused of threatening his wife and attempting to harm her.
Authorities were able to take Schiavone into custody without further incident. He has been charged with terroristic threats with intent, simple assault, and other related offenses. The investigation is ongoing, and Schiavone remains under arrest.
