Wilmington police arrested 36-year-old Joseph DellaCamera on July 7 after finding multiple narcotics and weapons in his possession. Officers with the Wilmington Police Department conducted a search on Princess Place Drive just before 5 p.m. and discovered that DellaCamera had two outstanding arrest warrants.
During the search, officers found fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, a knife, and a stun gun. As a result, DellaCamera was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, felony possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver both cocaine and a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear on a felony charge, and carrying a concealed weapon.
He is currently being held at the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center on a secured bond of $107,500.
