ELMONT, N.Y. — Jose Asto Jacome, 27, was arrested for stealing from the Target store on Hempstead Turnpike and is now in ICE custody, Nassau County police reported.
Jacome allegedly committed the theft yesterday and was quickly located and apprehended by authorities.
During the investigation, police discovered Jacome had an outstanding removal warrant with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), resulting in his transfer to ICE custody.
