SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 21-year-old man was killed Friday in a shooting at the Oakwood Garden Apartments in Springfield Township, authorities said.

The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office reported that the shooting occurred around 7:46 p.m. near North McCord Road and Hill Avenue. Investigators found Tanaro Pounds shot inside his car. He later died at a hospital. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds.

Officials said a maroon SUV was seen leaving the scene, and multiple shell casings were recovered in the apartment parking lot. A warrant was issued for 20-year-old Jordan Graves. On Sunday evening, Graves surrendered to authorities. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 22 in Sylvania Municipal Court.

This incident marks the fourth shooting in Toledo on Friday. Earlier, an 18-year-old was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries in east Toledo, a man was shot outside a central Toledo restaurant, and a 70-year-old man died after being found shot in north Toledo.
