Pulaski County authorities arrested three individuals following an investigation into a suspected drug dealer, leading to a drug bust in Bronston, Kentucky, on Sunday.
Surveillance Leads to Arrests
According to Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones, detectives with the Narcotics Division had been conducting surveillance on Jonathan Lewis, 35, a suspected drug dealer with active warrants.
While watching Lewis’ home, authorities observed a white pickup truck and a motorcycle leaving the property. Deputies quickly moved in before the suspects could flee.
Lewis, attempting to evade arrest, lost control of his motorcycle while maneuvering between police cars and a boat parked on the property. During the chase, a bag of methamphetamine fell from his vehicle.
Search Uncovers Drugs, Cash, and Firearms
The driver of the white pickup, identified as Charvonta Arkee Wright, 33, was also stopped. A search of his vehicle uncovered $1,886 in cash.
Lewis later consented to a search of the home, where officers found Erica Turner, 30, inside. During the search, police seized:
Digital scales
Baggies
A handgun
Syringes
A glass smoking pipe
Authorities later obtained a search warrant for the vehicles on the property, leading to the discovery of another handgun and methamphetamine residue inside a white Dodge pickup that Lewis had previously driven.
Sheriff Jones stated that during the investigation, detectives determined that Wright was Lewis’ meth supplier and had delivered the drugs to him.
