Suspect fled traffic stop, crashed, and resisted arrest

Jomall Glenn Arrested After Fleeing Traffic Stop, Crashing in Satsuma

SATSUMA, La. — A man wanted in connection with a retail theft in Livingston Parish was arrested Friday after leading deputies on a pursuit that ended in a crash.

Jomall Glenn, 33, was a suspect in a theft investigation at Juban Crossing. Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle tied to the case at a red light near Juban Road and I-12, but Glenn fled onto the interstate.

He later crashed the vehicle, hitting another car, and then tried to flee on foot. Deputies quickly apprehended him. Glenn and a passenger in the vehicle were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. No injuries were reported in the vehicle he struck.

Sheriff Jason Ard confirmed Glenn was booked on multiple charges, including:

Reckless operation of a vehicle

Obstruction of a highway of commerce

Flight from an officer

Resisting arrest

His bond was set at $100,500. The passenger was not charged.

The investigation into the retail theft is ongoing.
