Evanston Man John Suggs Indicted for Dealership Car Thefts, High-Speed Chase

CINCINNATI — A 33-year-old man from Evanston, John Suggs, has been indicted for allegedly stealing multiple vehicles from a Colerain Township car dealership and later leading law enforcement on a dangerous high-speed pursuit.

Suggs faces four counts of theft and one count of breaking and entering, according to court records. Prosecutors allege he stole four vehicles from Colerain Nissan in February.

He was arrested last week after Montgomery police attempted a traffic stop on another reportedly stolen car he was driving. Suggs fled the scene, allegedly reaching high speeds, turning off his headlights in the rain, and driving the wrong way on I-275, police said.

Suggs is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday to face the charges.
