John Miller Arrested in Major Drug Bust in New York Mills

Over $866,000 Seized in Cocaine, Methamphetamine Operation

Utica Police have provided new details about a significant drug bust in New York Mills, leading to the arrest of 51-year-old John Miller. The operation was carried out by the Utica Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit in collaboration with several local and state agencies, including the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, New York State Police, and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

Search warrants were executed at a residence on Clinton Street in New York Mills and a nearby storage unit, where officers uncovered 780 grams of cocaine, 475 grams of methamphetamine, and more than $866,000 in cash.

Miller was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Further charges are anticipated as the investigation continues. The coordinated effort highlights the ongoing battle against narcotics trafficking in the region.
