John Labbe Arrested in Lewiston for Drug and Firearm Possession

LEWISTON, Maine (WGME) – A 44-year-old man from Leeds, John Labbe, was arrested in Lewiston on Friday after police discovered a large quantity of illegal drugs and a firearm in his possession.

Labbe was apprehended on College Street, where officers found 161 grams of fentanyl, 20 grams of crack cocaine, and a pistol. Authorities noted that Labbe was not permitted to possess a firearm due to prior felony convictions.

The arrest was made with the assistance of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Labbe faces multiple charges related to the possession of drugs and an illegal firearm.
