BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. – A Durant man has been arrested on kidnapping and domestic assault charges following an alleged violent incident on September 29.
According to court documents, 32-year-old John Christopher Lamb is accused of attacking a woman by punching her in the chest, strangling her, and preventing her from leaving a room.
Lamb was booked into Bryan County Jail on Monday and faces three felony charges: kidnapping, domestic assault and battery by strangulation, and domestic abuse by assault and battery.
He remains in custody and could face up to four years in prison or a $5,000 fine if convicted.
