On Thursday, Streator police arrested 37-year-old Joey Russell at his home around 4:00 p.m. on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a domestic battery charge. He was transported to the La Salle County Jail.
Shortly after, at 4:15 p.m., Streator officers responded to an incident in the 400 block of Chicago Street. There, 34-year-old Jeanette Berrong was charged with battery and criminal trespass to a residence. She received a notice to appear in court.
Meanwhile, in Ottawa, 23-year-old Jacob Enk was taken into custody on suspicion of domestic battery. He was also booked into the La Salle County Jail.
Authorities continue to process the cases as part of ongoing investigations.
