62 suspected controlled pills

12.5 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms

19 dosage units of Suboxone

3 firearms

The fentanyl alone—based on U.S. DEA estimates—was enough to potentially cause over 1 million fatal overdoses.

As a result of the bust, Leonard was charged with an extensive list of offenses, including:

3 counts of felony trafficking in opium or heroin

5 counts of felony trafficking in methamphetamine

Leonard was booked into the Rockingham County Detention Facility under a $2,000,000 secured bond.

Sheriff Sam Page praised his team’s efforts and thanked the Reidsville Police Department for their assistance. “This is a major victory in our fight against the opioid epidemic,” Sheriff Page stated. “If you see something, say something.”

The investigation is ongoing. Authorities urge anyone with tips to contact the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division at 336-634-3238 or Crime Stoppers at 336-349-9683.
