STANTON COUNTY, NE – A Lincoln man is facing felony drug charges after being stopped for speeding on Highway 275 Sunday night.

Around 7:40 p.m., the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a westbound vehicle approximately four miles east of Norfolk. The driver was identified as Jesus Rosendo-Olivias, 21, who was reportedly driving without a valid license and had illegally tinted windows.

A probable cause search of the vehicle led deputies to discover cocaine and drug paraphernalia, prompting Rosendo-Olivias’ arrest. He was taken into custody on a felony drug violation and booked into jail while awaiting bond.

Authorities also noted that it remains unclear whether Rosendo-Olivias is legally present in the United States. The investigation is ongoing.
