A Casey County man was arrested early Tuesday morning in Russell County on multiple theft-related charges.
Jessie Hayes, 54, of Liberty, was taken into custody by Deputy Blakey of the Russell County Sheriff’s Office just after 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
Hayes faces charges of Failure to Produce Insurance Card, Failure of Non-Owner Operator to Maintain Required Insurance (1st offense), and Receiving Stolen Property valued at more than $10,000.
Following his arrest, Hayes was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center. Authorities continue to investigate the case.
