RUSTON, La. – A Ruston man is in custody following a narcotics operation as part of a broader drug suspect roundup.
Jerriel Jones, 44, was arrested on May 2, 2025, by narcotics agents executing warrants for methamphetamine distribution and violation of the drug-free zone statute, according to the Lincoln Parish Journal.
When officers arrived at a residence on Timber Ridge Circle, Jones reportedly refused to exit the home. Law enforcement breached the door to take him into custody after verbal efforts failed.
In addition to the two drug-related charges, Jones was also booked on three outstanding warrants from Ruston City Court. He was transported to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center where he awaits further legal proceedings.
