Jeremiah Nathanial Aguilar Charged with Homicide in El Paso Fight

23-year-old arrested after fatal altercation on Winter Spring Place

EL PASO, Texas — A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged with homicide following a fatal altercation in East El Paso.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, Jeremiah Nathanial Aguilar was taken into custody after a fight that left a 37-year-old man dead.

Deputies responded to the 500 block of Winter Spring Place around 1 a.m. on Tuesday. Investigators determined that a physical fight had occurred between the two men. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Following the investigation, a warrant was issued on Friday charging Aguilar with criminally negligent homicide. His bond was set at $100,000.

The Fugitive Apprehension Unit located Aguilar at his residence, where he was arrested without incident. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
