FRANKFORT, Ky. (WBKO) – A Northern Kentucky lawyer, Jennifer Zaccheus-Miller, has pleaded guilty to theft charges after admitting to stealing over $200,000 from two Campbell County estates.

Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman announced the plea, confirming that Zaccheus-Miller will be temporarily barred from practicing law as a result of her crimes.

According to court records, the thefts occurred in two separate instances:

May 2020 to April 2024
June 2023 to May 2024
Zaccheus-Miller pleaded guilty in both cases and will be ordered to pay restitution. Under Kentucky law, theft of more than $10,000 but less than $1,000,000 is classified as a Class C felony, carrying a sentence of five to 10 years in prison.

Attorney General Coleman condemned the crime, stating:

“This defendant took advantage of Kentuckians in their grief. It’s a shameful crime, and I’m grateful for the talented team of prosecutors who delivered justice for these victims and their families.”

The case was investigated by the Kentucky State Police, with Senior Counsel Wil Schroder and Assistant Attorney General Amanda Morgan prosecuting on behalf of the Commonwealth.

Zaccheus-Miller is scheduled for sentencing on April 16.
