Jennifer Cedano Arrested for Fresno Shooting, Faces Multiple Charges

Suspect held on $195K bail after Saturday night shooting

FRESNO, Calif (FOX26) — The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 44-year-old Jennifer Cedano in connection with a Saturday night shooting at a Fresno residence.

Deputies responded around 8:30 p.m. to a report of a shooting at 315 E. Gettysburg Ave., where they found a man with a gunshot wound to his lower body. The victim was treated on scene and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators identified Cedano as the suspected shooter. With assistance from the Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium (MAGEC) and the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (ViCAT), she was located and arrested near Ashlan and West Avenues later that evening.

Cedano faces charges including assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Her bail is set at $195,000.

Authorities noted the residence has been a known problem spot, with regular checks by the sheriff’s and probation departments.
