SCREVEN COUNTY, GA – A coordinated law enforcement operation has led to the arrest of Jemell Cooper and Thomas Cooper, who were taken into custody on April 24th after a search of a residence on Hiltonia-Perkins Road.
The Screven County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Sylvania Police Department and the Effingham County Drug Suppression Unit, conducted the raid following an extensive drug investigation.
During the search, officers seized large quantities of illegal drugs, including:
Cocaine
Crack cocaine
MDMA (Ecstasy)
Marijuana
Additionally, firearms and cash were also recovered from the property.
Authorities say charges are forthcoming as the investigation continues.
