LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — A man was arrested after deputies say he was caught stealing copper wires late Sunday night from Dr. Joaquin Garcia High School’s football field.

Jeffrey Titus was seen along with another man removing copper wiring from light poles on the property. While Titus was taken into custody, the second suspect fled the scene and has not yet been located.

When questioned by deputies, Titus declined to cooperate, stating only that he had “nothing to say.”

Titus now faces multiple charges related to the theft, and the investigation remains ongoing as authorities search for the second suspect.
