Jeffrey Arcangeli Charged in $450K Dix Home Burglary

Guns, gold, silver stolen in Meads Hill Road break-in

DIX, N.Y. (WENY) – A Schuyler County man has been arrested in connection with a high-value burglary in the Town of Dix, according to the New York State Police.

Jeffrey Arcangeli, 59, of Burdett, was arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny after allegedly stealing nearly $500,000 in valuables, including multiple firearms, from a home on Meads Hill Road.

Troopers say the burglary occurred on March 22, 2023, when Arcangeli reportedly broke into the residence, accessed a safe, and took approximately $450,000 worth of gold, silver, and cash, in addition to several guns.

Arcangeli was arraigned in Dix Town Court following his arrest.

The New York State Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
