Palatine, IL — Jaylin A. Glenn, a 20-year-old from Palatine, is facing multiple felony charges following his arrest on December 16, 2024. Glenn, of the 800 block of E. Lilly Lane, has been charged in connection with several incidents over the past month.
Police took Glenn into custody after an incident in the 1100 block of N. Rohlwing Road. He faces charges of trespassing to state-supported land, obstructing a peace officer, and reckless conduct. During his arrest, authorities found Glenn in possession of items stolen in a retail theft that occurred on November 24 in the 700 block of E. Dundee Road. He has been charged with felony retail theft related to that case.
Further investigation linked Glenn to a December 1 burglary, leading to an additional felony burglary charge. Following a detention hearing on December 27, Glenn was ordered to remain in the Cook County Department of Corrections until his next court date on January 17.
