BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBMA) – Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a double homicide that took place near an abandoned house in Birmingham on November 21, 2024.
The Birmingham Police Department (BPD) confirmed that 18-year-old Jaylen Frost, 18-year-old Cam’Ron Frost, and 22-year-old Taquan Patterson have been charged with capital murder (two or more victims) for the fatal shootings of 19-year-old Camry Enrieque Lee and 20-year-old Michael Allen Carroll of Pinson, Alabama.
Arrests & Charges
On March 19, Birmingham Police Detectives presented the case to the Jefferson County Magistrate’s Office, which then issued Capital Murder warrants for all three suspects.
On March 25, the BPD Crime Reduction Team successfully apprehended the suspects at a residence in the Titusville neighborhood. They are now being held at the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
Authorities continue to investigate the motive behind the fatal shootings as the legal process moves forward.
